Fallout 3 code "already been used"

Just received redeem code for Fallout 3, got message saying "This code has already been used".

Seems other users are having issues also.

Preorder Fallout 4 ages ago, received promo code for Fallout 3 on 11/3/2015, when I click on redeem code: This code has already been used.

Obviously, I haven't used it, please provide a new code or fix it.

Fallout 3 Download Code Said was Already Used

When I bought Fallout 4 it came with a Fallout 3 download. When I tried to input the code my code had already been used. Could I have a new code or some other way of downloading Fallout 3.

 

I had this issue last night when I received the code.

I spoke to support and whilst I was on contact, she mentioned that I had already purchased the game (never have done before to my knowledge)

Not sure what happened, (might have hit redeem twice by accident) but it might be worth checking to see if it has been tied to your account already.

KCEEZIE suggested similar, Searching XBOX 360 games store for Fallout 3 and clicking purchase, I did and it says I already got game.

I can't remember buying digital copy, though I do have DVD version.

Can everyone else in this thread follow the same steps mjdixon provided to check for the content? If you're still not seeing the content has purchased despite the code being redeemed let us know

 

Lol that worked for me as well (already purchased and has been added to your download queue) though it still shows a price tag when I view the game on the xbox marketplace (unlike for the DLC, which I had purchased back on the Xbox 360 and it says "already
purchased")

If you check under your Xbox 360 download history, you should see the game available for download there without having to try the work around mjdixon provided.
