Fallout 1 no sound game pass

So I recently decided to revisit the older fallout games after playing through three, new Vegas, four, and 76. Fallout 2 on the game pass works perfectly however the same can’t be said for fallout 1. It loads and runs fine however it has no sound what so ever, the game isn’t crashing or lagging it’s just has no sound. What’s even more odd to me is the fact that fallout 2 is working just fine even with sound.

after trying it I am afraid to say it didn’t return the sound back. I found the CFG and did as instructed to no avail, I am sorry.

The game was installed on disk C, right?

Are the system settings in the fallout.CFG file also like this?

If you installed the game from the Microsoft Store follow this path

C:>program files>WindowsApps>BethesdaSoftworks.Fallout1_1.3.0.0_x86__3275kfvn8vcwc>fallout 1 english>fallout.CFG

Open fallout.cfg file, look for the [sound] section and put in it those values:

Can we know which platform you are playing on? On PC the problem seems to be related to sound cards

Fallout 76 just seems like it's gonna super janky. I passed on Fallout 4 since it's on the same old outdated engine as 3 and New Vegas, and putting that in a persistent online world sounds like jank city. I don't enjoy playing games that feel so unpolished
and archaic.
