    Ok so I imagine it is not just me but in the many years I have played Xbox Live i get zero gamer score profiles contacting me saying

    Hey.....how old are you....

    To break right into it. Its obviously a scam of which i have never got that far down the hole to actually find out what scam it is but I know i am not the only one who this is happening to. There is no reporting mechanism for this type of thing to my knowledge
    but why isn't there as I assume it is another form of either getting personal information to gain access to your xbox live account or sell you something. I dont know what but I feel there should be a way to combat against this even if it is just to flag the
    profile to the xbox live team.

    If ayone has had this happen to them or has any thoughts feel free to comment.

    It requires you categorize your report snd nothing fits the reporting category for fake profiles.

    There is a reporting method. You select the message and then file a report. Be sure to add a comment stating that it is a fake profile. Then mute and block.

    Report them as spam, that what I do. They are also testing some unwanted messages for the messaging system. I have this function. For testing and make sure I flag everyone of them. Hopefully they will get enough info to be able to create a spam filter
    through these tests soon. Since the holidays are fast approaching I have noticed an uptick in these messages myself. Which I was hoping for that way I can keep flagging them. Xbox is trying to work a solution.

    Hi AdzFoz,

    When you click the message I would suggest selecting the Spam option then in the optional message box type "This is a fake profile", this only shows up if you click the actual message not the gamertag.

    Just like any other person, report and block. I have had many of these types of messages asking age and such. Usually just wanting to promote pornographic material.
