    Faint horizontal line across screen.


    I've only had the Xbox One for a few weeks now.

    Today I noticed a very faint horizontal line, it looks like an image burn but it isn't. It also was visible after I changed HDMI ports and HDMI leads. The console itself is fine and games are playing and looking like they've always had.

    Does anyone else have this problem and is it fixable?

    This actually could be your television.

    Depending on what type it is your screen may be divided into 3 parts and as you play certain gaimes those sections are visible to you.

    You may be able to correct this by adjusting your settings.

    This is one of those things that you're always going to notice while you're looking for it though.

    They were if they didnt glitch, which for a few unfortunate players (me included) kind of ruined the whole experience. I encountered horizontal lines of interference across the screen most of the way through.

    The picture on the tv had the horizontal be fine it stretched across but the top and bottom was compressed to half of the screen it was just weird.

    Hi breckers,

    Can you please try some of the following suggestions and let us know if they are possible to do or help you in some way to fix this issue.

    Have you tried to reset your console's display settings?



    Remove any discs from the disc tray.

    Turn off the console.

    Turn on the console.

    Note: If you are using an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, turn on the console by using the Guide button on the controller. Make sure that you use the player 1 controller when you do this. The player 1 controller will have the upper-left light illuminated.

    As the console starts, on the controller, press and hold Y while pulling the right trigger. The display settings are reset to the default settings, and then the console automatically restarts.

    -

    If that doesn't work and your still getting these horizontal lines on the top half of the TV then try to use a different set of cables or a different input if available and see if that makes any sort of difference.

    If available, can you also try to take this same XBOX 360 to another TV and try to see if these horizontal lines continue on the other TV?

    If this issue only persists on your TV and not another one, it's likely that it's an issue with the TV, if it still persists even after switching cables, inputs, and TV sets then it's likely that your XBOX 360 console needs to be repaired. If that is the case,
    it can be done here.

    using HD? netflix wants hd settings for your xbox :( i had CRAZY problems with netflix till i switched to a newer tv, than still had some problems till i switched to hd 1080i. Even if your tv is hd you need to change xbox settings to hd as well as long as
    you have hd cables.
