Failure Resident Evil Zero

Hello Guys, i recently buy the digital version of RE Zero, im having an issue with the game... Just starting the game, when you need to plug two cables on top of the ecliptic train theres a video... the video never appears and my Xbox One S, shut down
there... I tried twice same issue, at same video.... is this the correct place to report? someone has the sams issue?

@BlackSilverace, buying on PS3 you will get the ugly PSone edition! You don't want that kind of graphics! I have them all on the good old nintendo gamecube on high graphics settings

Even though the title mentions "Alpha," read the comments to comprehend the non-Alpha applicability:

This happens to me on Xbox One S. According to others, this only happens on Xbox One S and Xbox One X. This probably starting happening after the latest Xbox One update, but I'm not sure, since I just started playing the game, though others think so. This
happens when you trigger the top of the train wire scene, which is about 20 minutes into the game. A loud whirring noise occured through the speakers and the Xbox One S turned off.

I've reported this over the phone to Microsoft support, and they suggested to post here in the forums. So not helpful.

Given that Microsoft can't even write a stable system menu (and Full RGB is completely broken, so always use Limited RGB on dumb XBox One), I'm not surprised that Microsoft would release an update that would break a game(s). This isn't to say that Capcom's
Resident Evil Zero is necessarily intelligently written code. Either Microsoft broke some code contract, or Capcom wrote incorrect code which after the update doesn't work, or both. My bet is on Microsoft.

This is wasting my GamePass subscription, by the way.

 

I'm with the same problem, i buy it this week and i can't play the game, Microsoft don't let us take refund, so my money is gone and i can't play my game.

 

yea same problem here , as soon as Rebecca connects the cables on the train roof the xbox one s ( in my case ) shuts down, however if you skip the cut scene the game will play on for a little bit only to do the same again when the scorpion crashes through
the roof to fight with billy,

this game is not fit for purpose so why does Microsoft deny me a refund ?

 

it doesn't freeze the game , the fault turns the xbox off immediately

it. Seems like it started way before the recent update so we can rule that out. Have any of you reached out to Xbox or Capcom Support via Twitter?

A more recent Gamefaq thread says to redownload the game so as to rule out a corrupted image Xbox game pass version crashing at same cutscene before queen leech - Resident Evil 0: HD Remaster Message Board for Xbox One - GameFAQs which
some of you seem to have done.

It also seem to happen on specific scenes, remedied by skipping them (not the best fix).

 

False, the Reddit thread started before the update because the thread is about Alpha system software because it's in the "r/xboxinsiders" Feed, intended for Xbox Insiders... who elect to do free testing for Microsoft's awful software. Look how much good
that did.
