    Failing to pick up audio


    No matter how i plug it in it can never pick up my audio.

    I have a perfectly working xbox compatible headset, yet it isnt working. When i am in a party and i plug in my microphone it says its connected and i can speak. When i go to speak, no audio goes through or anything. This is highly annoying, nothing is muted.

    it works when i'm on PC games, not on xbox.

    Internal memory unit, please help!!!

    The internal memory unit is most likely failing. I'd pick up a flash drive and move everything to that before it fails completely.

    Sorry to hear about the issues with your headset!

    To be sure, are you seeing the same issues with another headset and on other controllers?

    If you test another console or another headset on your network do you see the exact same issue?

    Also, is your console wired or wirelessly connected to your network?

    Post back if you are still having issues and let us know how those tests go!

    it works just fine on my xbox, it's as if my machine is not picking up the capability to use the controller as an audio device.

    shouldn't it pick up as an audio device regardless?
