Failed update/green screen

Discus and support Failed update/green screen in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Xbox is so backwards compared to PS4. Don't know why I bought it.     when it says I need to update the console it just doenst finish the update and gets stuck for hours so the only solution is turn it off. Now it's stuck on that bloody green screen

    Update This morning I turned it on and it just sits at the green xbox one screen. I tried the factory restore with no luck it still just sits at the green screen loading.
