    Failed to sign in Xbox live/Internet


    I have an Xbox 360 and i made a new account and it keeps saying that I need to connect to internet, so I tried signing in on my other profile but it worked and its only that one profile that works?

    Is Xbox Live down right now?

    I can't sign into Xbox Live today. I ran a test connection and the results were:

    Network: Connected

    Internet: Connected

    Xbox Live: Failed

    My PC internet connection works fine, so the problem appears to be on Xbox Live's end. Is it down right now?

    With the ethernet cable through the laptop I get:

    Network: Success

    Internet: Success

    Xbox LIVE: Failed

    And with the wireless adapter:

    Network: Failed

    Internet: Failed

    Xbox LIVE: Failed

    Failed to sign in Xbox live/Internet

    Log onto xbox.com support and chat/speak to MS support directly. Ask to speak to an account specialist not a support rep. They should be able to solve your issue. Take care

    Where does the network test (on the xbox) fail? It sounds like it would fail at internet or xbox live level.

    The fails differs, sometimes between internet - xbox live but mostly from cable - internet.
