Failed to resolve server address: Forza Horizon 4

Yeah I read that on their tweet account, hope they fix it soon.

Hey guys, I'm having the same problem.

I've tried mostly every solution found on google.

My NAT type is open, and it says that I'm connection for Xbox Live servers.

sounds that your Problem is the NAT-TYPE! Maybe caused by new Updates... ;-)

Try to change your Teredo-Clienttype in your WINDOWS-Group Policy.

Maybe your Firewall blocking Ports?





Or you have to set up/open ports...?

I am in USA and the diagnostic window on my xbox says I am connecting to western europe. Well that is the problem because I am not in Europe. If Microsoft tech support is involved then this will probably never get fixed: restart your computer, reinstall your software, don’t forget to give me a five star rating for helping you. I am going to try deleting my local game save and restoring from cloud. Maybe my settings got corrupted. Does anyone know if that will work or are the cloud saves corrupted?

There are issues with the servers for Horizon 4 which are being investigated (not sure who is inestigating though, presumably Microsoft) so that likely is the reason for your issue.

The DNS error message is erroneous as the issue doesn't seem related to DNS...I tried using the default DNS, Google DNS and Cloudflare DNS and none solved it....can't imagine there being an issue with all 3!
