Fail to get Xbox live after redeeming code

Hi, my girlfriend redeemed a code to get xbox live for 3 months, it says it was redeem but when she tried playing online it said she needed xbox live. We tried reentering the code but it says its been redeemed. We tried restarting the xbox and the game
but kept getting the same issue. What do we do now?

Yes she was, she redeem her code through her console

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on getting your girlfriend back online. I can totally see how this could throw anyone off, but it's probably something small. Usually if you recently update an account, then it's best to

remove and redownload it back to the console.

If that does not help her, then I suggest you guys get in contact with
customer support to make sure that the code was redeemed appropriately.

When you get the chance, try that out and let us know if that did help.

Subscriptions can take some time to activate. If logging out and back in doesn't fix it. Wait an hour.

Awesome as {Parity} mentioned, i would also recommend going through that process as well if they find that there's still no Xbox Live on their account i would recommend going through the support page (link Below)
