    Hi,

Solution 1: Check the Xbox Live service status

If you see any alerts here, wait until the service is up and running and try again:

Social and Gaming: up and running

    6/15/2018, 11:38:08 AM

Solution 2: Check if the game has a pending update

    1. On Home, move right and select My games & apps.
    2. Select Games.
    3. Find the game you're trying to play.
If the game tile appears dimmed and displays a progress bar, it's getting an update. Wait until the process is complete. You’ll see a "*" icon in the upper-right corner of the game tile when the game has successfully updated.

Try to start the game again. If it doesn't start, try the next solution.

Solution 3: Restart your Xbox One console

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Restart console.
    4. Select Yes to confirm.
    5. Try to launch the game again.
Note If you’re unable to access the guide, or if the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the
console again to restart. Try to launch the game again.

    Solution 4: Reinstall the game

Reinstalling the game will overwrite the game stored on your console and trigger an update, if one is required. Whether you installed from a disc or from Microsoft Store, you have to uninstall the previous installation first. To uninstall a game:

    1. On Home, move right and select My games & apps.
    2. Select Games.
    3. Select the game you want to reinstall.
    4. Press the Menu button on your controller and select Uninstall.
Then, reinstall the game by inserting the disc or downloading it again from Microsoft Store. To download the game again, search for the game in Microsoft Store, select the game, and then select Install.

If you keep experiencing the problem, contact Xbox Support.
