Factory settings for an Xbox 1s

I need to manually put in my Xbox factory settings at a hotel no hard wire Wireless but it won't connect to wireless cuz I think factory settings are messed up anybody out there knows what those factory settings are appreciate it thank you have a good day

Since you are trying to connect to a public network, in most cases, you need to pass through some authentication and it can't be done if you can't access the settings so I suggest to use a different network such as hotspot first.

[/quote]I think the OP is implying that an account was left on the console that was locked + had parental controls enabled so unless they got a lucky guess with the passcode, they would have to reformat it. I don't believe you can just delete the account
off the HDD because of parental controls but I could be wrong there.

How do I factory reset the console? I have an error code E 82 and i reset it like the old xbox 360's and it worked for about 5 minutes until I turned the console off by unplugging the power cord. then I went to power on again, it was back to the old error
code E 82 again.

I bought a bigger hard drive and a data transfer cable from amazon and now it has wiped my existing hard drive but now my xbox doesnt recognise either hard drive ...is there a way to factory reset the machine without the hard drive being recognised ?
