Factory reset Xbox One X without screen

My Xbox One X HDMI port has died, I have put in a Service Request to have it fixed or replaced, the problem I am having is factory resetting the console without a screen before I send it off. I have tried following the "How to reset your console to factory
defaults on Xbox One" guide from the link in the email I received after raising the service request, however the instructions don't make sense. It basically says you can reset the console without a screen with a USB flash drive by downloading a file from your
computer then plugging it into your Xbox... blah blah blah... then the last step says "Once the console restarts, you should see the digital setup experience to guide you through resetting your console.".
Exactly how am I going to see this digital setup experience when I don't have a screen??? Has anyone had to do this before? Is it even possible?

I was almost going to try this, would have been a bit of a bird box challenge I reckon. lol. Luckily I was able to stream my Xbox to my laptop. Thanks though

Hi, start the XBOX One X in support mode and take a look at Youtube to see the steps you have to take with the controller, are about 4 pieces

Thanks for the tip, I didn't think it would work because I thought I'd have to go into the settings to enable game streaming first, but turns out I didn't. I was able to do the reset but have no actual way of checking that it actually worked because the
moment I hit the reset it booted me out of streaming and now I can't to get back in. I'm assuming that the fact that it won't let me stream is because the reset worked (makes sense to me). Thanks again

Try streaming it to your pc and reset it from there
