Factory reset with keeping apps and games

After selecting to reset with apps and games kept, what should happen on screen?

I only see a black screen and light on.

Other than wait, can I do anything?

You may want to try factory resetting keeping games and apps

To factory reset keeping games and apps. Go to settings, All settings, System, Console info, Reset keeping games and app.

He's just saying it's a glitch and you may have to do a full factory reset of the console. You can also try a factory reset keeping games and apps.

Hello MDK8,

Thanks for coming to the forums. When you select the reset, the screen will go black, it can vary on how long. The next screen should say preparing console. After that you will be asked to download profile. If it has been black for a while you can

power cycle the console.

Yeah you should check the recent download section as Njal mentioned. If the issue persists you may want to try a factory reset keeping games and apps.

Just factory reset, (keep all games and apps option) and hit factory reset to solve this issue.
