  1. Factory Reset Problems

So, like many recently in the Preview Program, I had the whole black screen after startup issue. I decided to try and use the Offline Diagnostic Tool thing and do a clean slate factory reset. I extracted the folder onto a freshly and correctly formatted
USB drive. I put it in the usb slot on the Xbox, I held down BIND and EJECT like you're supposed to. It presumably booted from the usb drive, and said it was Preparing the Xbox, and restarted twice. After that, it goes to do the Initial Setup, like when you
    originally get the Xbox One.

Now, the problem is I pick my language, and then it goes to the next step for Networking and it can't detect the Wired connection or any Wireless signals. I have never had any issues with the network or networking devices inside the Xbox until doing this.
My only other recourse seems to use my warranty while I still can, but I'd rather fix this myself if I am able.

Any ideas? Factory Reset Problems :(

    :)

cant sign in to xbox live

Its a live problem being looked into

WHATEVER you DO, DO NOT do what my mate has done and do a factory reset on the console to then find out its a Live issue

    Factory Reset Problems

I would first try holding the Xbox logo on the front of the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down and unplug the power cord from the back for 5 minutes. This should reset the network card. If that doesn't work, I would try another factory reset. Also,
make sure you unplug any other unnecessary devices, in case one of them is interfering somehow.

  5. I've done both of those things already, including trying the reset about 4 times now. Also doing the unplugging of the console and everything else. It's very confusing, it's like the factory reset file doesn't have network drivers or something. When I do
it, I have an ethernet connection setup on it and it won't detect it, but yet I can ping the Xbox's local ip address on my laptop, that is on the same router. It's very, very odd.

Just to make sure you try everything, I would download the reset file again, and possibly try it on a different USB and a different port. Aside from that, it seems like a repair may be your only option

    Factory reset

Resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. Your console syncs with Xbox Live automatically when it’s connected with the
service, so if you've been offline for a while, you'll need to connect to Xbox Live before taking these steps
