Factory reset my Xbox one S with games and apps

Ok so let’s say I’m selling my Xbox and I have bought games on the Microsoft store and I want to sell the Xbox with those games I bought from the Microsoft store what do I do??

Thanks for your post! I understand you are experiencing an issue playing Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One S. Have you attempted a Soft Factory Reset(reset console and keep my games& apps)?

A Soft Factory Reset will remove your profile and reset your console's operating system(OS) to factory settings while keeping your games and apps, this should correct issues related to your console's OS.

I understand, have you performed factory reset on both consoles? If not yet, please try to perform the factory reset keep my games and apps on your Xbox One S console > then check if it works.

If it still doesn't work, may I have the exact error message upon attempting to log in to your accounts on your Xbox One S, please?

Digital purchases cannot transfer ownership so you can't sell the games, but you can reset the console by going through Settings, System, and Console Info.

Thanks for coming to the forums. Sorry for the issue with the error code. We recommend a

soft factory reset. As there may be some corrupt OS file/s. When you go to reset console select the one says reset and keep my games and apps.

Hey you can choose to keep games and apps when doing a factory reset.

Be sure to choose the option "Reset and keep my games & apps."
