Factory Reset, Game Lost

Hi all, I need some help please.

I bought Grand Theft Auto 5 in the play store about 8 moths ago, but I was having some problems with my Xbox so a friend of mine helped me to reset my console. I did move all my games to an external hard drive with all the add-ons. But now I have trouble
to play the game it keeps giving me an error and then it shows that I should make sure that I'm sighed in (which i am) or that I should confirm that I have bought the game. It doesn't show in my purchased history since I've formatted the console. I don't
know what to do to get my game to work again ;( , if there is anyone who can assist me I would appreciate it. I am signed in on the account that I used to purchase the game. Thanks in advance

A few things you could possibly try.

1. Deleting your profile and reinstalling it to the console, then setting it as your "Home Console."

2. Submitting a support request for the tech team (and hope they don't send you back here) https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us

3. Or as a last ditch effort delete everything off your hard drive (or the game/games effected) and then reinstalling them.

And after verify if you are logged with the corrected account from where you bought the game, if doesnt appear in the Ready To Install bar, try search Grand Theft Auto 5 in the store through the console and see if appears available the install option.

Games are always connected to profile who bought them, just like Live, game pass or ultimate. They can be deleted from console but your connection to game stays. Support is my option.

If it's not in your purchase history that usually means you don't own the game. Everything you own is tied to the account. Not the console. Meaning you could wipe the entire console and still access anything you own on any other console at anytime. A factory
reset just resets the Xbox.
