Factory Reset Every Time I turn my Xbox off and on

It sounds like you purchased your console fairly recently, so to save yourself the headache, you may just want to contact the retailer about an exchange.

clearing your cache. You can do so by going to 'System Settings' in teh Xbox dashboard, selecting 'Memory,' and then highlighting your memory device. If you press (Y), you'll see the option to clear. Go ahead and do so.

Yes I have done that about 3 times I factory reset my xbox twice did the remove add account twice also but every time I reset or turn it off or on that person pops up first on the add more bit below I removed this person as they was horrible towards me & it's annoying me I have 2 see there profile photo pop up every single time!

That would be really strange if it was factory reseting every single time you turned it off.

Are you sure it isnt just signing you out of your account all the time?

The only time it would force a factory reset is if you left the insider program and that would just be the once.

I’m having This exact same problem every time I start up the outer worlds or exo flight my Xbox turns off says overheat but I’ll barely be 5 min into it and it turns off but I can play apex legends ranked for 14 hours a day straight and nothing happens to the Xbox. I even factory reset the Xbox did everything they said and it still won’t work. **** Microsoft

I even reset to factory defaults. No change. I am popping on and off xbox live every 30 seconds (I've timed it. Its almost 30 seconds every time) Someone please help. My xbox is unusable right now.
