    Facing issue during XBOX one update


    Facing an issue with xbox one update.Every time i try to update my xbox, the update gets failed during the 'verifying' phase. The console is not letting me login to my account without update and the update is failing repetitively. I have done a factory reset by keeping the data and games but the problem is still there. I can't even operate in offline mode now after doing a reset.

    Error details displayed on screen.

    There was a problem with the update You need this update to use your console, but something went wrong.

    Error code displayed on screen:

    Error code: 0X8B05000F Ox00000000 0x90100007

    First turn the Xbox off, unplug it and wait two minutes, then turn it on again. Also try offline update

    Hi,

    For any one that faces this. Finally got it working after contacting support. It seems like quick heal might be detecting the Xbox app as ransomware. Probably happening now due to the new XVD virual drive creation that came with the April update.

    Disabling quick heal does not work however just disabling Ransomeware Protection from Quick Heal resolved the issue. Much better than having to uninstall and reinstall it during every download and update...

    it very sad that I have faced a similar problem...

    I had put away my Xbox for a month - last OS updated was 10.0.18362.3055... during my away time there was another OS update which got missed 10.0.18362.4050.... now every time I switch it on -- it goes on to update to 10.0.18362.5047 directly... always finds
    a problem after downloading 3.6GB (full size update) & come up with a screen -- there was a problem with the update...with specific options to tap on-- switch off Xbox/ Retry/ check network/ Skip & remain offline …. no matter what I try--- I always end up
    of the same screen...

    after trying a reset with keep game & apps --- my kid erroneously changed the language to Danish during reset (to add to misery) … now my Xbox one is just a brick...

    there is no issue with the network & no issues with HDD...

    so what to Do
