Fable wont play after downloading

downloaded fable but when I try to play it say's the game couldn't start try downloading again

I recently purchased the first fable game from the xbox marketplace, and it wont play. I've followed all the troubleshooting tips, and it still wont work. Every time I select the game, it says:

This game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again.

 

Fable 3 wont finish downloading!

So I was about to start downloading the game yesterday but found out it's not available in my current location (Malta). I asked a friend who lives in the UK to at least go on my account and confirm the purchase for me so I can download it, BUT, at 75% I
get a notification saying Fable 3 can't complete download. So you're saying if I buy a game off the marketplace, get a new console, moved country and tried to download all my games half of which could be not available in the country, I wasted my money....

But with that case put aside since I never lived anywhere else but Malta, is there anyway to finish the download in my location? My friend who lives in the UK has the game downloaded, will I be able to download it if he goes on my account and starts up the
game for a second? Please help me, my friend has been waiting for my download to finish and both of us are getting annoyed by this. Thank you.

 

To make sure that no corrupt data causing your issue, you should clear your cache:

From the dashboard, click on My Xbox.

Select System Settings.

Select Storage.

Highlight Hard Drive Device.

Press Y to select Device Options, then Clear System Cache.

Reboot your console.

Redownload the updates for the game. NOTE: Not all games have a Title Update File.

From the Dashboard, click on My Xbox.

Select System Settings.

Select Storage.

Select Hard Drive Device by pressing A.

Select Games and Apps.

Select Game Title.

Delete Title Update File.

Restart Game.

Download the update when prompted.

 

Just to add on to lenzio's post - Under the Games and Apps, you should scroll through all your games and see whether are there any yellow exclamation triangle - This usually signified incomplete download.
