Fable Trilogy Issue

Well, I noticed Fable Trilogy was on sale today and decided to buy it. Unfortunately there seems to be an issue with licensing. While Fable 1&3 appear in the list and seem to download fine, Fable 2 is nowhere to be found. It is available for separate purchase
but does not appear in the "Trilogy" app.

Fable Trilogy: Having trouble getting content in my location.

We have the same problem in Romania. I can only download Fable Anniversary and Fable 3. NOT THE FABLE 2. Fable Trilogy is region locked, and they are not telling you this before you buy it. Thanks a lot.

(btw i can download Fable 2 individually ..so Fable 2 is not locked ..but Fable trilogy is)

I have tried talking with support and they said they will look into the issue. I think it might be a local problem of the XBL Marketplace in Israel.

 

Sorry to hear it. Unfortunately no one here will be able to help you out. I would recommend playing the first or third game for the time being and keep up to date with support regarding the second game.

Shame that you can't play Fable 2.

I downloaded it as well just recently but haven't played it yet.

 

Hey, just to give you an update. While Microsoft has still not been able to resolve the issue (they say they are working on it with the game developers), they gave a workaround. They asked me to purchase Fable II separately for a full price and then gave
me a refund for it, while letting me keep the game. Also this issue is apparently specific to the Israeli XBOX Marketplace.

I am being told today that this should be resolved now. You should be able to download from the app itself. Please give that a try and let me know if it's still not showing up in the download list like in your screenshots!

 

It is indeed resolved now. Fable II shows up in the app and downloads fine. It is now included twice in my download history through.

 

You can always delete one. The games are treated as separate games in the system, however if you download either one, it should work without issue! Glad to see you're all set. Please do let us know if you see any other issues with similar bundles!
