Fable Legends Cancelled so close to release

The game was almost done. Some people were saying release date in April 16th...

So nobody really understand. Sign the petitions :

I just hope they will remove the NDA.

 

They should release their current product by April even if it is not fully complete. Recently, many users in the program have reported good results. Thank you for the petition links.

greatest line up just got alot smaller, no fable and a timed exclusive which is tomb raider, leaves us xbox players with 4 games one of which is the mediocre halo 5 so 3 games is a great line up, shaking my head at disbelief.

 

Yeah that "greatest game line up in XBox History" tagline is insulting.

Removing "Fable: Legends" from that line up reminds me of General Norman Schwarzkopf famous reply to reporters asking how he felt about France not joining the American invasion of Iraq when he replied:

"Going to war without France is like going hunting without your accordion".

Certainly "Fable: Legends" was the "France" of this "Greatest game lineup in Xbox History".

 

Fable Legends could have been the biggest game for Microsoft. If you had the chance to look at all the content that was coming after Microsoft made the announcement to cancel the game you would be amazed. I'm lucky to have taken part of such an amazing beta
and the Fable community is the greatest I've ever been apart of.

 

There is 2 images of it still on xbox.com's homepage. using it to sell xbox and windows 10... It's also on the windows 10 page selling crossplay.

 

It's sad seeing such a good dev team lose their jobs. I hope this is just some temporary thing and Lionhead rebounds some how.

 

Sony is holding a special recruitment event for Lionhead employees. Not as bad, but still turning into a bit of a PR nightmare for MS. Epic Games is also having a recruitment event for them. So atleast hopefully most will land jobs soon.

 

they removed fable from the homepage, but its still in 2 locations on the windows 10 xbox gaming page:

I waited and waited and waited to play this beta and got passed over everytime beta invites went out. Several of my friends who had no interest in playing it got invites, but me, someone who actually was excited to play this, kept getting ignored. Now it's
gone all together. So upset.

 

Knowing ms theyll bring it back after a year if enough people complain ..

Side note if the petition is xbox related why would it not be allowed ...

Also, Microsoft Studios didn't give a reason for cancelling the game... And Phil Spencer is doing nothing to save the game. After he is saying that he listens to gamers for the best.

I'm playing Fable Legends Closed Beta almost everyday and it's sad to see a 90% completed game turning into a cancelled game. This game is more than perfect... People will never now what they are missing. Yes Fable Legends has a story, graphics are good,
gameplay is good and characters personalities are very cool.

Players always cried because it was not Fable IV, but Lionhead tried something, it turned to be good, but people will never know.

I just wish someone at Microsoft could wake up and change decision... This decision was just stupid and everyone, including devs, were surprised.
