Fable Legends Cancelled (Lionhead Closure Eminent)

Fable Legends was cancelled today, this game was so close to release and the beta was really fun., They sold people on crossplay with windows 10 with this game, now that win10 has launched and been out nearly a year they cancel this game... This is bad
form. Xbox one just lost another IP and with it, an entire genre (fantasy) missing from their studios. I don't see anything else coming out to fill this void. Sea of Thieves is not fantasy, but another pirate game that doesn't look very good.

Don't Kill Lionhead

I never played fable legends so have no idea if it was terrible or not. But they could have just cancelled the game and got them to work on another. Better than closure.

 

Microsoft are idiots. Fable Legends was the only Xbox owned IP I was looking forward too. So much love for the fable series and closing Lionhead is a kick in the teeth. Money hungry *** wombles with no idea what their consumers want.

 

Wondering why I'm still able to play the beta. The announcement of this game was one of the reasons I went with Xbox! Between this and the lie that Kinect started out as I can't help but feel Microsoft owes me some compensation.

 

Wow!! I'm really worried about the future of XBOX. They said they were going to focus on 1st party games. If this is what they meant, I think we are in trouble

 

Because the game was free-to-play, they should send more beta codes, and/or release their current product by April even if it is not fully complete. Recently, many users in the program have reported good results.

 

I think there is a deeper issues here. FTP games may be in trouble all together with the issues of late on Neverwinter and there bad press it though up.

 

You will be able to play until the 13th. I really didn't care for the MP part of the game, I really hope MS will start up a new studio for Fable 4.
