Fable III Not Working On Xbox One

Im trying to play Fable III on Xbox One but when I try to play, it freezes on the Xbox 360 startup screen. Ive waited 10 minutes on that screen before being sent to the Xbox One dashboard. My disc is in excellent condition with no scratches. Just in case,
I tested the disc in my Xbox 360, and it worked fine. I also tried my Red Dead Redemption in my Xbox One and it worked so I guess its just Fable III having backwards compatibility problems. I dont know if this is happening with anyone else.

New DLC for Fable III? Probably not. At this point they'd be focusing on working towards the next one.

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the game?

 

No Ill give that a try. Hopefully that works.

 

Reinstalling it didnt work. Basically sitting here for many hours with no luck.

Sorry to hear Fable 3 is not loading up all the way! Give these steps a shot and let us know if the results change after that.

1. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.
   
   
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Storage, and then select Clear local Xbox 360 storage. After this, your Xbox One console will restart.

Hello. I have the same problem and I tried deleting and redownload fable 3 but getting the same problem. Also following the steps Mister Beep gave didn't help at all.

Let's try some steps in this order, delete the game from your Xbox One, clear local storage as recommended above, power cycle Xbox One, and finally re-install the game.

If you're still having trouble after that please head on over to the
Backward Compatibility Troubleshooter and fill out the survey provided near the end. Let us know how it goes

 

Trird uninstalling, clearing 360 storage, and restarted but still doesnt work.

 

I dont know what else to do. Still wont work.

Sorry to hear that the prior steps aren't working. At this point, I would consider uninstalling Fable III,

factory resetting your Xbox One console using the "keep my games and apps" option, then trying again. If that doesn't work, trying the full reset is also an option for you.

Would factory resetting my xbix delete my xbox one game saves?

 

The saves are linked locally and on cloud, resetting your console would only get rid of the local ones. You'd still have the backup on cloud.
