Fable II- Cannot Save Games

While Fable installed perfectly fine onto my Xbox One, once I attempt to play, it wants me to download the old 360 account information, otherwise I cannot save any game time. We chucked our 360 back in '13 including the external hard drive, where most of
our game time was saved. I also have yet to find the correct email account connected to the 360.

Maybe it's just me, but I've scanned through tons of support pages, and have not found anything, which indicates that we have to connect an old 360 account to One... am I wrong? Is this simply another bug, or what? I've asked other gamer friends and they
are at a loss too.

Hello Everyone,

I just talked to Xbox Support and found out no one will be able to play Fable II save games anymore the saves are all corrupted and everyone will have to start new files. Just a heads up.

It sounds to me like the account/gamertag you sign into Xbox One with is not the same as the one you used on your Xbox 360?

When you launch a 360 game on Xbox One it automatically logs into with the same Xbox One gamertag you're currently using, to fetch your 360 profile and save games (if you uploaded them to the cloud).

If you were using a different account on 360, you would need to log into Xbox One with that account in order to access your old save files. Otherwise you'll be starting from scratch with your current account instead.
