Fable II Backwards Compatibility

Hello Everyone,

I just talked to Xbox Support and found out no one will be able to play Fable II save games anymore the saves are all corrupted and everyone will have to start new files. Just a heads up.

360 on One?

Think fable II and fable III could be put in this, since lionhead isn't ever going to release II on pc, the backward compatibility is my only chance at these games again.

 

Fable 2 VERY SICK

I have found the same problem with my game as described above. I thought xbox was all about supporting backwards compatibility? I have yet to find this issue on other backwards compatible games, only Fable II

 

I'm sorry, but ...... why can you start a new game on the XBox 1, transfer it on the 360 and can play it ( if the saves are corrupted ? )

Already tried some ways like :

Created X360 : Ok

Created X1 : Ok

Created X360 and played X1 : Ok

--- One the X1 ---

Created X1 : Ok

Created X360 : NOk

Created X1 and played X360 : NOk

The problem is just coming from the emulation of the Fable II / Fable II DLC ....

 

When I guess I should rephrase what I said I tried to play my fable games on Xbox one and they wouldn't load and Xbox Support told me that the files are corrupt

 

My game continued just fine on my Xbox One from my cloud save I made on my 360.

 

Update, my saves were still on the cloud however for this game I had to buy the premium see the future and knothole Island in order for my saves to transfer over!

 

@VaatiDruidLk63 : Already heard about buying the premium version on XBox 1 can give us possibility for the gamesaves to be correctly loaded, but ..... if we paid for a GotY version, why could we pay again for a GotY version ? ( I mean paying again for both
extensions, not for the entire game ).

Almost, in my case, I can't buy the extensions, from my X1, it says ( for both extensions ) "Bundle only".

 

I tried with new game ( my 1st time playing it) when i did a quest in Oakfield, i tried to return to the town, game froze on me my Xbox made a very loud noise like a jet engine, then went back to my home page. I tried to reload it, it placed me in the same
spot and froze immediately, i uninstalled game from my drive reinstalled it, my save file came up, froze again. any ideas? Thank you!

 

Well I know that I haven't had the issue of my game freezing yet and when I purchased a premium DLC that was listed on the Xbox one I was able to play all of my other three files
