fable anniversary

unbelievable. . not even 5 minutes into the game and the dialogues are freezing and wont let me press A BUTTON to get out of them. I press it twice rapidly and it gets out of the screen only to skip the next sentence. Then the game freezes in oakvale after
the bandits burn it down and I can't even turn my xbox 360 off..I had to unplug it!!! I can't believe what a shoddy remake this is. with all the technology available, lionhead can't even adequately remake a 10 year old game?! DISPICABLE!!!! I have waited a
very long time for this only to be totally and completely let down. I own every fable and have been a loyal fan for 10yrs. To be ripped off like this is a total and complete kick in the face and I will be unlikely to buy ANY lionhead studios products EVER
again. you should be ashamed of yourself..totally and completely ashamed. I will be writing as many poor reviews on game sites as I can possibly find so others don't waste $45 only to find the same infuriating disappointment.

The Game is buggy as mess, i completely agree with you, theres not much you can do but wait for patches, cant believe the 10 year old version works better LOL

 

It is pathetic i waited so long for this for a slap in the face not only is it buggy none of the dlc content is working i tweeted fb and did forums nothing piece of crap lion head im so done both lion head sucks and microsoft thank god i bought the ps4 over
the xboxone

 

Do you have the download version or the disc version?

You could try installing to the HDD if you have the disc version. With the download version you can try clearing your cache to see if that helps.

I agree it can be frustrating - at times it's laggy and I've had it freeze 1 or 2 times in about 8 hours of play, but it's still a great game. I know it's been 10 years, but it was also laggy and froze back during it's original release as well, and again
with the Lost Chapters version that was released.

 

Installing it doesn't make any difference.Had my copy installed & it still kept freezing.

I know the developers are working on a fix for this so it's just a case of being patient.

 

I have the same problem but I can barely make it to the start menu. I purchased mine from the marketplace and was very disappointed when it started freezing. I've reinstalled it at least 6 times now and it changes nothing. And it seems like the latest patch
didn't improve anything.

 

I was able to play this game, all the way to the point in Snowspire when you activate the archons shrine. however, after the shrine is activated and the quest complete screen comes up, i hit the A button to accept the completion and 1 of 2 things will happen.

Either my console will freeze up, to the point that the xbox menu will not come up when i hit the middle button and i have to reboot the console. OR i will get a black screen. hitting the magic and the attack buttons you can hear your attacks. so i even
tried hitting the down button on the Dpad to try to use the guild seal, and nothing, you just get the noise.

I have tried to clear the cache, and i have tried installing the game to the hard drive. each give the same results.

i am unable to play this game now, as the checkpoint was in the middle of a cut scene, so it just loads right back to the cut scene, after the scene is over, i get the quest complete box, or the black screen.

please fix this!
