Fable Anniversary purchase.

So I went to purchase fable anniversary on my Xbox 360 through the ultimate game sale on the weekend bonus offers which was $19.99 and so I go and purchase a $25 card and put it on my Xbox 360 and go to make my Fable anniversary purchase and it now shows
at $39.99.

I would like the game for the price originally advertised at $19.99 since it is still the weekend and it is still being advertised to me at %50 off.

I did call Xbox and they were not even slightly helpful making excuses as to why I can not purchase this.

Not impressed.

Please help!!!

I had a similar issue with Sonic Racing. Its being advertised at 80% off but the price listed is $30. Im not paying that when its being advertised at over 80% off.

 

Id like to add the marketplace alert is for Xbox one not the 360. And before someone asks I do not have an Xbox one.

I would also like to add when I called Xbox at 1800-4MYXBOX they misinformed me saying it was a regional issue even though when I last looked it was $19.99 on the actually purchase screen before I went to purchase a card.

The fact that they refused to give me any real help and just wanted to basically lie to me to get me off the phone was very concerning and I asked for someone else and I ended up talking to a "manager" who was likely a low level supervisor that said the
same thing.

Sad I used to do this very job for Xbox and now they have people like that doing it. Zzzzzzz.

Thinking I'm going to be contacting Lions head and letting them know they lost a sale because of these games if this issue does not get resolved correctly.

 

So the issue was resolved last night but I would still like to point out the phone support lied to me and called me a liar.
