Fable anniversary dlc download issues

Day one and Dave's hat dlc are not showing up in game. Apparently a problem with xbox live (according to lionhead forum). Problem is that the files are only 56kb. When will it be fixed?

Countless problems with "Fable Trilogy" bundle

I know this is a year old but I just got a 360 today specifically for the exclusive Fable titles. I am having the exact same issues as here. Fable Anniversary absolutely will not download.

 

It would be best to ask on the lionhead forums.

 

They're too busy pointing the finger at Xbox-Live (as you can read below). Was hoping that there might be some more help on this side.

Just because you've posted something multiple times it doesn't mean you're right. For example, I have 56kb downloads showing in my storage and yet the DLC is working perfectly for me. If the download size were the
issue then I should be affected too. While it still may be the issue, odds are it's something else that is causing people to have problems.

I've been told that 56kb is the correct size here.

According to the initial download screen, the file size is meant to be 108kbs not 56kbs."

 

Where's the speedy reply I'm used too? No promises of fixing? Pretty sure ignoring it is not solving it.

 

In my case I have problems downloading the actual game. I purchased the trilogy 5 days ago and haven't been able to download any of the games.

First I receive an error saying I haven't purchased the content. Press A to purchase.

After pressing A I receive another error saying "There are no items available for purchase at this time." If I press OK I'm taken back to the games menu.

Hitting Download Content again brings me to the screen where I can see the 3 games, the required space and the Confirm Purchase/Cancel options.

Hitting confirm purchase will begin the download which sometimes creates a 46K or 50K file instead of a few GB file.

The download of either of the games some times stops and restarts, some other times it completes and restarts but it never finishes successfully.

Is this behavior related to the issues reported in the alerts? Is this different?

I have cleared the system cache several times as well as the marketplace data without any improvements.

Any thoughts?

 

Have you tried to order the download on the website, so it turns up in the active downloads on the console?

 

I actually made the purchase on the website since the console wasn't letting me do it. The initial download of the trilogy came from the website.

I have even deleted the download and downloaded again the content but the result is the same.

Just by checking the forums it seems that something bigger is going on but no word from Microsoft yet =(

 

I forgot to mention, I get this error message after hitting "Confirm Purchase".

Sorry, something went wrong. This isn't available for your region or the file is corrupted, or we don't recognize the format.

Find more info by looking up status code 80150017 at www.xbox.com/errorhelp.

Needless to say, looking up the error code doesn't provide any useful info.

 

Did you get billed for it though? Also, did you move to another region recently?I used to get errors when trying to buy because I kept getting directed to the British website.

So for instance instead of:

marketplace.xbox.com/.../66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024d530a87

I need to edit the (en-US) or sometimes (en-GB) to (nl-NL) Because I live in the Netherlands.

So it would have to be:

marketplace.xbox.com/.../66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d8024d530a87

My paypal account got charged a few minutes after the purchase was made. I did buy the game in the US site because I moved a few weeks ago to a different region and I have to do the same you do with the address in order to access the right one.

I tried yesterday downloading add-ons for different games and they work without a problem so why not these games?

 

Maybe try deleting, clearing cache, then re-downloading on a different storage device?

 

I'm having the same problems as the siscooler person and its not working at all so did I just lose money for no reason or what?

 

Have you tried Deleting, Clearing Cache and re-downloading? Also try storing on a usb device.
