    Fable Anniversary: Battle of Jack of Blades


    Hi guys.

    So basically been playing Fable Anniversary, So far there hasn't been any freezing or other bugs. However, the final quest, Battle of Jack of Blades doesn't work.

    You collect the souls you need then it tells you to go to the bronze gate.

    At this point the flashing gold marker disappears, you get through the bronze gate and then it is supposed to go into a cut scene. This is not happening. You get through the gate and you're in the room but there aren't any cut scenes and the other gate is
    closed.

    I am unable to complete the game. I have restarted the mission 3 times, quit the game, turned my Xbox off and have rinsed through forums. The only option I have left is to uninstall the game, reinstall it and then play it all over again. Not really digging
    that idea tbf.

    Has anyone had any similar issues or could anyone offer any advice. This is very frustrating.

    The first game is pretty amazing, even if you;ve played Fable II first, in fact, many would say that despite Fable II improving on Fable significantly, they still feel the Original Fable (and The Lost Chapters) was better, the most common reason cited
    would be Jack of Blades being one of the most interesting villains in modern games and the untold (and sometimes game breaking) glitches in Fable II.



    I haven't played the PC version (yet) but it can still be picked up (and factory sealed even!) very cheaply at places like Amazon. There also used to be (maybe still is?) various ways to mod the game, such as being able to wear Jack of Blades outfit

    Fable 2 covered the building of the Spire. What I would like to see is how Theresa uses it and perhaps have our hero destoy it. Maybe the Spire will be used tot bring back Jack of Blades or even the entire court.

    Fable 1 HD remake?

    Going off the new CG of Jack of Blades at the end it looks like they're going for a full remake rather than a HD update.

    I didn't realise there was much demand for a Fable remake though. One of my biggest gaming disappointments ever.

    Antagonist or "Bad Guys" in games who aren't actually bad?

    Someone like Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2 or Jack of Blades from Fable. Both characters are presented as a bad guy but when you get to thinking about it, they're just more or less doing their jobs/trying to make things better for everyone. Game Theory
    did a great video about Handsome Jack that needs no explanation from me, it deserves a watch. My opinion on Jack of Blades is to be taken at face value, he's more a gray character rather than evil. He wanted to bring Albion under his control to bring peace
    and prosperity in a way that years down the line resembled what Jack in Borderlands did.

    I guess sometimes you have to get your hands dirty to keep everyone else clean.

    Fable freezeing

    Why is there no DLC on the market yet for the original fable? It is by far the best fable game made, and this was after I had played the others first. Just seems pointless of actually having fable on the market place with nothing to follow for people who
    download it. Its just the never ending mission of facing jack of blades over and over it just gets a tad tedious. After collecting all them silver keys as well and to have no 25 key chest for the Armour on necropolis. :'(
