Fable 3 why did my character completely reset?

In accordance with the information you provided, it seems that you're experiencing issues with your Fable 3 character. There are several possible causes for this. It could be a glitch in the game, a corrupted save file, or a problem with the Xbox Live servers. To troubleshoot this issue, let's see if we can get this sorted out for you.

Before we proceed, I will be asking you few question that will help us understand further:

1. May I know what platform you are using to play this game?
   
2. May I know what application you are using to play this game from?
   

Assuming that we are on Xbox, it's important to note that Fable 3 is an Xbox 360 game, and as such, it may not be fully compatible with newer Xbox consoles. Let's assume that you're playing on an Xbox 360 console.



In the meantime, you can try performing the following steps:

• Try loading an earlier save file. If you have a save file from before the reset occurred, you may be able to load it and continue playing from there. You could try checking your system files to see if your original save file is still there.
  
• Try checking your inventory and storage. It's possible that some of your items were not reset and are still in your inventory or storage. Check all of your chests and storage locations to see if you can find any of your lost items.
  
  
  
• Load Your Character: Some mentioned that the characters aren't on the same "row" of saves so, you have to load your main character's row.

Without posting spoilers, the only thing that changes in Fable 3 when a character is auto imported (you don't get a choice so to speak) regardless of what your hero did in Fable 2, is that a minority of the characters in Fable 3 will refer to the Hero
you played in Fable 2 as King or Queen, that's it.



Everything else is a fresh slate, only the gender of the Hero in Fable 2 is imported, absolutely nothing (as far as I am aware) is imported.

The choices you make will have an impact on the world you explore but little else. If Fable 3 imports your save despite being a Queen now, you will still be referred to as King and tht is all it will import.



If you are getting Fable 3 then before you start load the character you want imported into Fable 3 then save the game, quit to dashboard then start a new character in Fable 3, this is the only way I know how to import a save from Fable 2 to Fable 3.

It looks to me like there isn't going to be an imminent fix to our crash and reset problems.

Here is my fix to keep your hard earned tools (Hearts ,dynamite ,pickaxes)

Sign in on another computer, load the game from the cloud, you will now have a copy of your game

on that machine and can reload your saved version from it at any time.
