Fable 3 online Xbox 1

Does fable 3 online work anymore for xbox 1. My friend and I are trying to play and we cant join each others world. It says we have downloadable content the other doesn't but we both don't have any dlc just the base game. Also have uninstalled it and reinstalled
still running into the same issue. We've made sure we don't have and dlc.

Ive gotten my answer from them and no, no updates just the game from the xbox store.

I know i didn't. Just downloaded it from the xbox 1 store through game pass and they did the same. Ill have to check with them when i get a chance if thwy did.

Did you install any updates with the main game? It might be that certain updates caused additional content to become installed.

The online communities for both Fable 2 and 3 are alive and well last time I checked. I would recommend going to the clubs page on the Xbox One and join one of the various Fable clubs and ask about it since it has been a while since I've played Fable 3
online with someone. The only thing I could think to check would be if you have any of the free content installed? That could mess with your game settings... also make sure you have each other added on the Xbox 360 friends list since the game invites can be
really wonky. You could also check your online settings while in the Sanctuary in Fable 3, its on of those shelves in the map room to make sure you aren't on a bad connection setting or something like that.

Hi, if i recall correctly you need that old software called GFWL which is no longer available, at least that's the issue with PC, hope it helps.
