fable 3 on xbox one

i bought the disc version but i also bought the disc version of fable 3 but on my xbox one i have fable 3 available to download but not fable 2

Ok, Fable 3 was given away as part of the games with gold program (actually it was the 1st game given away), this could be why you have fable 3 given to you. Since you have the disc version of fable 2, just insert the disc and start the install, then you
can play Fable 2 on the xbox one, you do still have to insert the disc to play it though.

^Fable 2 > Fable 3 imo and I would highly suggest playing it, especially if you like number 3 as it feels way more involved then that one.

Xbox, Fable. Personally, I love the Fable Series. Xbox 360, Dead or Alive 4, and Lost Planet. Xbox One, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Ryse: Son of Rome (Loved Ryse), AC 4, and NBA Live 14

People like to hate on the Fable series for some reason (could be Molyneux hyping it up), but I enjoyed Fable 3.

I would still put Fable 2 over the third one because the menu system in 3 was needlessly painful to navigate and seemed shorter than 2.

In any case, OP should be able to find a copy of Fable 3 pretty cheap (around $5-$10), and I'd say its worth checking out if you liked Fable 2...
