Fable 3 LIVE access code in use by another ID

Microsoft Support team.

I have a MAJOR complaint about the level of service from numerous people in your team who have still NOT helped me resolve an issue with Fable 3 on my Games for Windows Live Marketplace.

I re-installed Fable 3 on my PC this morning (19th May 2016), and as usual my LIVE access code was generated the same as it always was. When I went into the game it told me that I can not access the game unless I have a valid live access key, which i put
in.

It tells me that the key is in use by another user and therefore I am unable to play the game. I find this confusing as I have had that live access key for ages and have played Fable 3 on my PC many times over the past few years on and off.

I spoke to a guy on the live chat called Phillip who was skirting around the issue and gave me nothing but a 24 hour message.

Then I called up the Microsoft accounts team and spoke to a woman by the name of Lhyn in the Phillines based office. She told me that she would need to pass me on to the Xbox support team.

Then I spoke to a person called Mia who advised me that she doesnt know why it does not work.

Finally (after having to protest) I was passed on to her supervisor Jane at the Romania office who said that the Games for Windows Live Marketplace isnt in use anymore and I cant access Fable 3 through there.

So I ask you. How do i play a game a paid for and downloaded in 2011??

They said you have to provide me with a key and another way to access the client. I am supposed to bypass this how???

So, here is my expectation.

I want a new product key and a new Live access ID. without fail. I also want to know how to play the game if I cant go through the windows marketplace which is the only location I can download the game from.

What do you mean by id error code? Do you mean the LIVE Id you use for XBOX LIVE?

 

How to control access to your Xbox LIVE account

It is possible to restrict access to your Xbox LIVE account by using a pass code, or making it necessary to sign into your Xbox profile using your Microsoft account password.

Set a pass code

A pass code is a button sequence on your controller, which you can use to restrict access to your Xbox LIVE profile. After you have set the pass code, anyone who wants to sign into Xbox LIVE using your profile must enter the pass code.

Steps to follow

1) Under Settings, select Account

2) Go to Account Security, and then select Pass Code

3) Enter your four-button code on your controller. You can use the directional pads, the triggers, the bumpers, X and Y.

4) Re-enter your pass code for confirmation

The next time you sign in with your Xbox LIVE gamertag, you will be required to enter the pass code.

If you want to change or reset your pass code, just repeat the above steps. You will be required to enter the old pass code before you can change it.
