Fable 3 Co-op Deleted My Save

I’ve seen a few posts about this subject, but I’m not sure there have been any about a solution for this specific issue. I figured my best option is to ask here, and if no solution turns up, that’s okay.

My sister decided to start playing Fable 3 on our Xbox One. This was her first time playing on her new Xbox Live account, so the save file was in Slot #1. I have completed the game on my own Xbox Live account and spent hundreds of hours grinding away at
all of the quests, so I decided to join her on co-op to help her quickly get through some of the tedious quests near the beginning of the game.

Here’s where the issue lies: I saw a post about how when you join as Player 2, if your save file is in slot #1, it’s likely Player 1’s save file will override your own. This seemed to be the case with my sister and I’s situation, as when she went to save
her game, it saved over my completed save, despite being created on two separate Xbox Live accounts.

So, I guess my question is this: Is there any way to recover my old save, or is it gone for good? I haven’t been able to find a definite solution to this issue, but I did see someone post online somewhere that they were able to recover theirs. I looked into
messaging them about it but their direct messages weren’t open.

If anyone has something that could help me, that would be great. In the mean time, I suppose I’ll just create another save file and replay the game.
