Fable 3 Can't verify release date

I have looked at most "solutions" from turning off my firewall to some fake xlive.dll to try and fix my issue i'm running windows 7 and i can not get fable 3 launcher past "GFWL needs to verify release date" it says to make sure i am connected to the internet
well i obviously am if I am able to post this so can someone please help.

GFWL, Steam, Windows 10 and You

Changing the date does not work for Fable III. I still get the same error and unable to verify the release date.

GFWL and Fable 3

Now that GFWL have fixed the problem with downloading purchases i installed Fable 3 and my dlc's to play again. But now i have a new issue it won't verify the release date so i still can't play it. Is there a fix for this? I'm on windows 10 if it matters.

the steam solution is as follows

go here http://timeslip.users.sourceforge.net/ and download the gfwl remover and place xlive.dll in your steamapps/common/fableIII folder.

not sure if you can do this with the version your are using.

The PC version of Fable 3 is not on Gamepass

You should've bought the xbox games for windows 10 version via gamepass as ita current and is playanywhere title

Fyi you need to download the games for windows client from steam to use the older version
