Purchased the game back in 2009. Never had an issue playing through the game but now it's not letting me goto Bowerstone Marketplace after killing the thug.

What is going on?

Not sure what to tell you. If you're playing the game, then you've bought it. If you're having trouble playing through the game, Google or YouTube will probably give you pointers.

 

Neither of them will help. When I purchased this game 6 years ago the download size was over 6gbs, now its treating it as episodic DLC's and the base is only 1.8gbs. How does that work?

 

You could try deleting the game from the hard drive and redownloading it. See if that fixes it. Try to also delete the hard drive's cache.

 

I looked into that, the base size for the game is still 1.8gbs on my download history.

 

I feel like you're looking in the wrong place. According to this, it's 6.59 GB.

Ahhhh. I got it now. You purchased Episode #1. A few years ago they released Fable 2 in increments. The first episode being free, which would give you access to the beginning of the game.

Basically, you don't own the full game. You only own the very beginning of the game. MS/Xbox did this as a trial with Fable 2. Needless to say, they haven't done this since.

 

No, I bought the complete game and completed it several times due to my saves corrupting.

Plus the first image says the game was purchased September 30th, 2009 and the store says the game was "released" April 6th, 2010.

 

You may have bought a physical copy, but digital.... nope. At least, not with the information you have provided.

You downloaded Episode #1 for free. You'll have to either buy the whole game, or individual episodes.

 

I bought the digital copy. Microsoft has even confirmed that I had purchased it from the marketplace.

 

Just buying the game again, appreciate the replies guys.
