    Okay, so basically what is happening is when I put my fable 2 disc into my Xbox one it doesn't work. (the Fable 2 I have is a 360 disc) I tried at least ten times before searching for the error code on the support part of the Xbox website. The error code
    apparently doesn't exist! All of my other 360 games that are backward compatible work EXCEPT Fable 2. You can check right now and see that Fable 2 is on the backwards compatible list too. I don't know what the problem is!

    Fable 2 won't download

    Hi there!

    For finding content purchased for the Xbox 360 console you would want to check the
    Xbox 360 downloads page.

    If you are not able to locate that content on the sire, this 100% indicates that the account signed in does not own the content nor did it in the past.

    If you do find the content and still run into issues with the game please let us know!

    Fable 2 won't download

    I bought Fable 2 back when you had to buy it in 5 parts. Stopped playing for a few years to take care of RL stuff. Decided to play again after getting a new xbox360,now I can't play, and when I look in my purchase history to re-download it says it can't
    download. Only option I can see is having to re-buy the game, which isn't really an option as I paid for it once already, and spent more than $19.99 doing so. Is there a way to fix this?

    Hi!

    Fable 2 is
    backwards compatible    . Try cleaning the console cache by holding down the power button for 10 secs and try to install it again. Remember that the console must be connected to the Live service in order to download the compatible version on X1.

    On top of that I would make sure the disc is clean too. Mine had a smudge and a good clean fixed it.

    On top of that I would make sure the disc is clean too. Mine had a smudge and a good clean fixed it.

    fable is always hyped. I got suckered into fable 2 and 3 like millions of others

    fable 2 was a sequel so i figured it get better but it was worse.

    fable 3 was supposed to be huge, but it wasn't.

    I really enjoyed the original Fable and loved Fable 2, but they lost me with Fable 3... I've never seen so much potential wasted... I'm keeping an eye out for Fable Legends, won't get my hopes up though.
