I think it had to do that it felt less of an RPG, and the fact that you couldn't change the difficulty if you wanted. It didn't fell right in comparison to Fable 2. Its like they dumbed down the game play. I know a lot of people enjoyed and others hated
it. For me, I thought it was mediocre at best. Just wasn't a lot of fun for me.

you think fable 3 dumbed down the gameplay? have you played fable 1? sure it wasnt a ''difficult'' game but you could actually die you know fable 2 and 3 was terrible compared to the first game. The first game was an amazing one they dumbed it down ALOT
in Fable 2 then a little more in Fable 3. But Fable 2 does not feel like the Fable i know.

[/quote]I thought the main story wasn't so great and the combat is way too easy. When they added guns in fable 2 I didn't like that either.

Fable > Fable 2 > Fable 3 In my opnion.

Well Fable is Fable...you either like it or you don't.I have 2 and 3 and the first for original x-box.I enjoyed Fable 3 much more than i did Fable 2..Fable to me is more comedy and really hard to take serious

^^^ Kingdoms of Amalur is eons above fable but the weapon system is similiar and maybe certain elements of the world.
