Fable 2 keeps freezing

yeah, looks like a disk cache problem

I have this same issue. I have uninstalled it, reinstalled it, tried it on my external drive, internal drive, online, offline, full Xbox restarts. The only solution is to restart the game. The background and shadows move, but you are unable to do anything.
It happens randomly from the very beginning of the game.

Set your resolution to 720 instead of 1080.

I too am in the same SOL boat, tried everything, its not my internet, and i just bought the console yesterday! Man I was so excited! I hope this gets fixed! It is so frustrating knowing that you cant save after it freezes and when you exit and go again
you’ll have to try and get back to where you were or remember to save before it freezes again I am horrible at manually saving, le sigh.
