Fable 2 classics version

I own Fable 2 classics version which includes dlc but xbox one is asking me to buy and download them, the free ones just add the characters

Fable 2 classics edition also has all the dlc on the disc.

The classics Edition of Fable II, the dlc's are included in the game, so there is no need to download the dlc. But the Xbox One does not recognise this, so only the normal version of Fable II is downloaded to the console. You can buy the dlc if you wish,
but you might be better off waiting until Microsoft have updated Fable II to include the classics edition.

 

I will test this and see if I get the same issue I have two versions of Fable II.

Fable II and Fable II GotY edition.

So I will check this tonight and see what I have.

Hi, the Fable II backwards compatibility does not include the game of the year. I'm sure it will come eventually. I'd advise against buying the dlc at this point. Microsoft are aware of the issue with the game of the year edition, and hopefully will have
it compatible in the near future.
