    Fable 2 and other games change language (Backward compatibility)


    I know this topic may be a bit outdated, but I have seen many have the same problem.
    In my case and for a personal matter, my console is in English, since in many games the localization is not done in Latin America and the dubbing of the games are from Spain, and that really bothers me. Such was the case of Fable 2, I consulted with the
    technical area and they told me that this could not be changed, that the system ignored my settings since it was in a "Spanish-speaking" zone and that is why the game is downloaded directly in that language. This made me wonder if it was through the IP address
    of my connection or by the mere fact of having my area assigned in the console as "Chile", and I started with the easiest thing, which was to change my region in the console to UK and restart the console. To my surprise, it worked perfectly and the game is
    now in perfect English with voices and texts. So if you have the same problem as me, try that, change your region to an English-speaking country like the United Kingdom or the United States and download your game again.

    Thanks all but it's the only backward compatibility games where i have this problem on my xbox one
    As far as I remember, Fable 2 had separate language packs that are not available right now.

    I suppose that the BC version language depends from the region, so you can't change if your regions is France.

    • Region: France
    • Language: English
    This is correct?

    If I understand you want to play Fable 2 (backward compatibility) in English, correct?

    Are you using digital copy/license or an original Fable 2 dvd?

    In this second case, what's the language of your dvd?

    I have found the same problem with my game as described above. I thought xbox was all about supporting backwards compatibility? I have yet to find this issue on other backwards compatible games, only Fable II
