F1 2021 is crashing Xbox Series S.

If you're asking if the xbox one version of F1 2020 will be playable on Series X | S yes it will work, while if you're asking if there will be a specific upgrade for next gen consoles Codemaster didn't communicate anything about it...so it is possible
that f1 2021 will be the first real next gen game.

We are having the same exact issue on my son's XBOX Series X and the F1 2021 game. We ran thru the steps above and still get the same error. Any other ideas?

Specifically for F1 2022, you would need to purchase the Series S/X version. The Standard Xbox One version is not optimized for the Series S and X consoles.

Solution 1:

Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for at least 10 seconds to open the Power center.

Step 2. Then unplug the power supply from your console and wait for 3 minutes.

Step 3. Plug the power supply back into the Xbox console.

Step 4. Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on again.

Solution 2:

Press the Xbox button.

Open Settings.

Go to Network and select Network settings.

Select Advanced settings.

Select Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear.

Select Restart.

Solution 3:

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:

- Select the option to keep your games and apps so that they are not deleted, make sure you know your email and password as they will be removed from the console and you will need to add them again.

With issues like these, I would suggest to preform a Soft Factory Rest by selecting Reset and keep my games & apps. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data that can cause this issue without deleting your games or apps.

To Reset your console, Select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose Reset and keep my games and apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

Hello, so i tried today your proposal but after 1 1/2 hours i had the same issue again with F1 2021. Only difference was that i've got a greenscreen for 1 second before my console shut down...

The crazy thing is that i have only problema with this two games. And since the launch of the Series X i played A LOT of games and had never this issue. I also posted this in the EA forum but nobody seems to care ...
