F1 2015 No Sound

Hi,

After the big update for the Xbox One (15 Sept 2015), the sound of the game F1 2015 is gone. Every other game works fine, I only have no sound with F1 2015. I removed the game and install it again, but this doesn't work either (even with the power cycle
restart). I can`t find anything online about this bug or even if it`s happens with other games as well. After I click on play the sound is gone, also the sound of the dashboard and TV (now its called OneGuide). If i close the game (in dashboard, hit the menu
button and click on close game) than i get my sound back of the dashboard. The sound is gone directly when I start the game, I played it for 15 minutes without sound to check if it came back, but it doesn't.

If I go back to the dashboard and go to the OneGuide (the hdmi of my TV provider) I hear for 1 sec. the sound of the OneGuide and than its gone again. Only when I close the game all sounds come back.

Have somebody the same issue or knows a solution? I have a hard copy of the game, no download. I apologized for my English, its not my first language.

Is the game the only thing that isn't producing sound?

When you go into the Xbox One menu, does navigating the menu make sound effects that you can hear?

i buy this game f1 2015 today on live,

but no have sound,only this game.

I change to 2.1, hdmi, tv, 5.1 dts, dolby, etc and nothing sound to hear.

What´s wrong?

I have the same issue as you. I went to start up my physical copy of F1 2015 and there would be no sound once I opened up the game and until I closed it or ejected the disc from the disc tray. Like you stated, this doesn't happen with other games. I tried
it with other games and even apps on the Xbox Dashboard and these seem to work fine.

I know you were hoping my reply would be a solution thread but I want you to know you are not suffering this problem alone.

If anyone out there knows a solution to this problem or if Xbox themselves can directly fix this bug, please feel free to reply to this thread with any important information regarding this title.

Here are some steps to help you:

1. Mess around with the InGame Sound Settings & Xbox One Settings App Surround Sound Settings

2. Hard Reboot The Console - Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

3. Uninstall F12015 & Reinstall F12015

4. Call 1-800-4MY-XBOX

5. Contact The Developer

I am having this very issue and it is driving me mad, I have done all the above and still no luck the other day I left the controller sat there and it turned off and my sound came back so I am just running the same test.

Will let you know of my results.

 

I am having the same issue, open the game and all sound is gone both ingame and from the OneGuide, sound returns immediately on closing the game or ejecting the disc. It may be worth noting I have the game installed on an external hard drive alongside a
few other game, a full re-install failed to work, I will try to revert the game back to factory settings (pre day one update) and post results. Like all the others above have said it only happens on F1 2015 since the new update. This leads me to believe that
there is a problem with the game and not the Xbox as I originally thought. Maybe worth posting on the Codemasters forum and if we get enough responses they will release a patch for it, they cant fix something they dont know about.

 

Following my previous post, the game refresh did not achieve any positive results.

Rare Ltd staff here - we have had the same issue with Rare Replay and have a workaround/ fix.

In your console settings go to:

Display and Sound -> Volume -> Chat mixer

See if your 'mute all other sounds' option is selected.

If so, uncheck it or change to 50% mute and see if that fixes the problem.

It has worked for all Rare Replay issues that have been reported to us.

 

Are any of you having sound through headsets, or TVs?

It may be worth updating the firmware on the controller. There was an update for this included in NXOE.

Go to Settings > Devices and select the controller, and if there's an update you'll be able to select that option.
