F1 2014

I read last night that the official announcement for F1 '14 will be made later on today, I'm hoping that it's not going to be just for 360/PS3 and that current gen consoles get a look in. I'll try and update the thread later on once the announcement has
been made.

I read a few posts on twitter last night from Codemasters saying that F1 '14 will be officially announced today (31st July), fingers crossed it will be for current gen consoles as well and not just 360/ps3. I'll update the thread later on once they have
made the announcement (or anyone else feel free to do so lol).

F1 or Forza Motor Sports? My vote is for F1 if you want more realistic racing games. Forza turns out to be a knockout game and other players who do damage do it with impunity. In F1 you suffer near realistic damages and penalties. It is the closest to real
racing. If you are into a free-for-all then Forza is your pick. But if it is you might just as well pick Grand Theft Auto or one of the other knock out racing games. The graphics in Forza are good but the graphics in F1 are much better. The only thing which
diverts from reality is the characters, like the pit crew, are still a bit like comic book art. So there you have it in my opinion.

 

They'd be mad to skip current gen! I expect good things : )

 

Last gen only for now, launching in October for 360 ps3 and coming next year for Xbox One and PS4.

Hate the way some games are appearing on last gen months before or last gen only like the latest grid, this and the amount of remasters of quite recent games

 

I'm a bit surprised it's only appearing on XB1/PS4 next year but something to look forward to and in the mean time I'll carry on with Forza 5, then comes Horizons 2, Project Cars and The Crew
