    EXTREMELY SLOW WIFI ON XBOX/ DOESNT CONNECT


    Hello there, so i recently bought a new router, it is called the TP Link Archer A7, i was told this was a good economical router that does pretty well with gaming. when i set it up and tried connecting my xbox to the 5G, it goes one of two ways: connects
    but has a download speed of less than 1MB and latency of 1000 or it doesnt connect at all. ive tried resetting the router, ive tried tweaking it around to see if anything changes but nothing works. the router i previously had was old and would sometimes randomly
    turn off or have some pretty bad lag issues but this would never happen. when i do a speed test on my 5G network through my phone, it gives me a download speed of 117, and latency of 20. By the way, my 2.4G network connects fine with the xbox but the lag is
    pretty bad so i refuse to use it. any idea how to fix this issue?

    How is you xbox connected to the internet? It may be to slow if your using wifi.

    Hi, I think because of the Corona quarantine and since everyone is currently @home the burden on online services and Internet providers is extremely high at the moment. This is likely to result in lower download values, especially in cities

    This issue is affecting me as well. I believe that Xbox services are slow/down because of COVID-19. Give it some time and if it doesn't work email Xbox Customer service about your issue

    MW servers have not been the best during this time. People are complaining about a lot of lag and being kicked out of games.
