Extremely slow game download speed in xbox one

Hello,

I am facing Extremely slow game download speed in xbox one. My ISP provided speed is 75 Mbps download/upload speed. I am from India. I ran Detailed network statistics in xbox one and results are as below,

Download Speed - 71.30Mbps

Upload Speed - 32.93 Mpbs

Packet Loss - 0%

MTU - 1400

Latency - 209 ms

Currently downloading Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II (6.37 GB) and World of Tanks (2.41 GB update). I get around 3 ~ Mbps speed. some times it drops less than 1 Mbps. please assist.

EXTREMELY slow download speeds

I have the same complaint. I have a 24 MB/s line and my Xbox 360e is directly connected to the router via Ethernet cable. All other devices download test at 20-25 MB/s. EVERY TIME I download a game or patch from Xbox Live Gold, the speed crawls at 0.2MB/s!!!!

I've tried updating the Xbox, changed Ethernet cables, etc., with NO difference. This tells me that Microsoft's servers are painfully slow. Why pay for a premium service with such pitiful performance?

When its time to renew, I'm ready to go back to the free Xbox live and buy my games at GameStop on DVD!

I hope someone at Microsoft reads this comment as it is deplorable that we receive such poor service. BTW, it is NOT an issue mof too many people on your servers either as I have downloaded at all times of the day and night!

Have you tried downloading any other content? Is it just as slow? Also, you may want to have a look at the following article on Xbox.com. It's not exactly related to your issue, but it may provide some useful tips:

I went through the steps, I couldn't find anything different in my xbox. I ran test again and it is 208 ms. By the way in my if i do Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test the ping is 1 ms. Both xbox and pc are connected through
the same router using Ethernet cable.

 

Hey NoisyTest! Try using a different Ethernet cable and see if it helps at all. Additionally, try using a wired connection directly to your modem. Post back and let me know how it goes!

Both pc and xbox are connected to modem/router directly. I have also tried switching the Ethernet cables.

When i ran the Speedtest by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test from pc it was connecting to a near server to my location, thats why i got 2 ms latency. I tried again by changing the server location to Seattle and the larceny was in 200
range.

I guess xbox one got servers only in USA and so the xbox network test connect to those only, so the latency will be high.

Why is there no plans to setup servers near to india?
