  1. EXTREMELY slow download speed since update

I am sure I'm not the only one, but contrary to the claim that the last system update would bring increased download speeds, I have instead experienced a severe reduction in speed since the update. I have 200Mbps service from my ISP, and while the Xbox
One has never provided speed anywhere near my connection's capability, prior to the update it generally ran around 50 to 60 Mbps. Since the update, though, it has been fluctuating wildly from a high of about 29 Mbps (rarely) to a low of about 0.3 to 0.5 Mbps
(much more frequently). These speeds are all per the built-in "Detailed network statistics" function, but also confirmed by live speed stats while attempting to download games.

Just to head off the usual response, yes, I have checked modem, router, etc. There is no issue with my general connection, just with the Xbox. I have also seen messages in the last few days suggesting that Xbox Live is currently experiencing a DDOS attack.
If this is true, it would be nice if Microsoft put aside what I am sure are PR concerns regarding admitting this, and instead just leveled with everyone. I would actually be less upset with Microsoft if I knew the cause of the problem was an external attack
rather than intrinsic problems with the service. That said, as I stated earlier, however, I have noticed a general speed degradation since the last system update, so unless the DDOS attack, if it exists, has been ongoing since then I suspect there is more
    to the story.

Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    :)

Same situation dude. Contacted support got nothing. Tried the forums here, got nothing. The issue is awful and seems like there's no fix as no one can pinpoint what's causing it

  3. Extremely slow download speeds since 2 days

I don't know what's going on for 2 days now, My download speeds are extremely slow on xbox one. On pc everything is fine. I even contacted my ISP and they said that the problem is not on their end and they double checked for me (I have a family member who
    works there).

I have assasin's creed unity and Dragon age inquisition pre-ordered. AC:U was downloading fine at full speed. But since 2 days the download speed is always 74.2 kb/s to 200 kb/s downloading about 300-400 mb per hour and that's very slow. Today I pre-order
dragon age and it's the same thing...

I tried all the trouble shooting I found from clearing persistent storage to hard reboot to shut down xbox one and unplugging cable to clear alternative mac adresse. Nothing worked, restarted router many times. I'm hard wired to the router and nat is open.
No other device is leeching internet bandwidth. Please help!

How to fix slow download speed on Xbox one S

Hi, I think because of the Corona quarantine and since everyone is currently @home the burden on online services and Internet providers is extremely high at the moment. This is likely to result in lower download values, especially in cities
Maybe, I was thinking of that too, if ISP limited my download speed that's mean the same download will be in Xbox and laptop, then I can understand why the download is slow, but why I'm still can download files with full speed on my laptop but on Xbox extremely
    slow ?

    Downloading speed extremely slow

Right now Microsoft has limit the bandwidth to avoid any type of "Staturation" on the service!

Now you can do a Speed Test on Settings and Network, just to verify the network.

    Regards!

    Downloading speed extremely slow

try restarting your xbox one console or router/modem you have. Or, even contact your internet provider and have them reset it manually. sometimes calling the company provider you have helps when they reset, i’ve done it before.
