Extremely Long Load Times

I've searched all over the internet for a solution to this. Nothing to be found anywhere. Every game I own takes forever to load. Online and offline. Battlefield takes 10 minutes just to get into a match. Call of duty won't even let me play. It loads and
freezes 10 minutes into the loading process. I've tried everything. Just wasted my time with the solutions given but I guess it was worth the try.

try downloading the game on your HD, since i did it with my games i have no loading problems at all. it also gives your xbox a longer life span if you download all your games

Man the same exact thing has happened to me after downloading collection 3 and collection 4 map pack the game has a black screen when the game is loading and after I press start it's downloaded to my hard drive I called Xbox live they had me uninstall the
game my map packs and the new up date and then they had me redownload everything and it is still slow I thought it was just me , I put modern warfare 2 in and it works great it's just mw3 that is starting up slow with long black screens if you find out the
problem let me know what it is

Is this occurring for online gaming? Or is this happening for offline gaming as well?

Both. It reads the games just fine but the loading and freezing makes them unplayable

This is happening for me too! It is also happening on the dashboard, it won't load and I've tried everything. I have to wait around 30 minutes before I'm able to do ANYTHING. And for a console which costed me £500 with each game being £50 I find it ridiculous
how their can still be so many problems!

Mine also freezes on the dashboard. I haven't even got to play this thing that much since it came out. I don't really want to send it in to get repaired. But that's what I think I'll have to do.

Have you tried the hard reset? Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until it shuts down completely. Let it sit for a couple minutes then power it back up and test to see if the issue has been resolved. Post back with the results.

I've done that 3 times so far. I let it stay off for a whole day and then plugged it back in. I have no idea what to do next. I've been messing with this for a couple weeks now

The OP already said in his post that he had it downloaded to his HDD.

It cant ever completely read off of your hard drive, certain things it needs the disk for. As for the black screen thing, I think other people are having the same problem and they are working on it. I don't know if you have the dashboard beta, but I do and
it makes apps/games start up very slowly.
