Extremely disgusted with the headset options for Xbox One!

let me give a bit of context, I have a surround sound system hooked up to my Xbox one so I don't like voices coming out of the surround sound because you get a lot a screaming ignorant teammates on your team constantly, I dispose the current forded headset
because my hands sometimes jump or move if I'm startled by someone jumping out at me, which twists the cords around my arms/wrists. I know there's headsets that have the over ear design to simulate surround sound but I actually have a surround sound system
hooked up, so that would be a downgrade for me. It's been a year since the Xbox one launched yet no " perfect " headset is out like there was for the 360. I assume there's no way to hook up a generic Bluetooth headset that works with a cellphone but if someone could direct me to a mono- small wireless headset just to hear teammates, I'd appreciate it. If there's no option, is there s forum for me to add my name
to signatures demanding this add on? Please reply here snd message me directly because I'm going insane dealing with this piece of junk wired headset. Apparently MS doesn't want to make money off a peripheral add on- which they love to do typically. Please
someone provide guidance because all options out there don't work if you want a small mono headset just to hear teammates.

Mic not working - Can hear people but they can't hear me

For many months now I have not been able to use a mic with my Xbox One. I can hear people in game/party chat but they cannot hear me. I have tried multiple controllers and headsets including a brand new Lunar White controller as well as brand new Xbox One
headsets and regular Apple headphones with mic (to no avail). I have tried all troubleshooting options, including: factory reset on my Xbox, unplugging / reconnecting the headsets, checking parental settings, made sure I have an open NAT type, updated the
controllers (with and without the headset plugged in), signing in and out of my account, assigning the controller/headset to my profile, power cycling my Xbox, resetting the controllers themselves, and more. When I try a test call on Skype I am still not able
to hear myself. This is extremely frustrating as nothing I have found on online seems to help, and I should not be expected to buy ANOTHER headset or ANOTHER controller. I currently have 2 Xbox One headsets and 3 Xbox One controllers. If this is not fixed
soon (this week) I will promptly be switching to PS4. Microsoft needs to get it together.

 

I use my TB X41's with the Xbox One Headset adapter. Works great.

The only truly wireless headsets I have seen for the xbox one

they don't seem to talk about them much but then again they just came out.

 

I also have a nice surround sound system, but when I know I'm going to be gaming online with friends I want to chat with, I use Astro A50's. That way, I keep my surround sound experience in tact but can also chat comfortably with my buddies. I have no
problems with that.

 

I have to agree with Sword the TB X07'S are great. I cant play games without them.

 

Time to switch to decaf, dude.

 

out of interest have you ever used a decent headset with game sound coming through it?

 

Coop I have my eyes on those headsets. My X31's are still doing well.
